Intentional Community

I will soon be putting together alot more information here about actually creating an "intentional community". I had alot of information up on an older website awhile back but let it slide away due to in attention and other matters.

However, it's time to put something together. This will be in an effort to create an intentional community of "like-minded" people who will share in resources, labor, funds, ideas, concepts and more.

From alternative building and energy uses and production to foods, herbs and spirituality. A combo group shared living, working, creating, doing and playing.

It will not be a commune, cult or a hide-away separatist kind of thing. It will be a caring for the enviroment and land it comes to be on. A "stewartship" of the place, of nature, and of ourselves.

A place to teach as well as learn in and from. From visitors, interns, semi-perm and perm residents who all share in the "community".

While some will still retain outside employment to some extent, others may find it better to create a "cottage" business run from the community, perhaps even sometimes employing other "members". All will contribute a min. amount of hours to the community in some sort of work...such as in the community kitchen, or home schooling teaching. maybe in the grounds and gardens, and/or in various kinds of "natural" building. Roughly, everyone puts in a few hours a week, maybe 10-20 a month. Actual amount to be determined in some way.

Government would be by consenus...in other words...everyone agrees or it's not done. If one loses out or is disagreement...then it's not doable. This may create a need for "counsels" of "areas" of concern.

Living arrangements would be both mixed/together and separate quarters or abodes for privacy...such as with families. Eating might be done all together or perhaps one meal a day together...or other arrangements...everything would be determined as what works best to all.

More about this latter. if you have links, resources, articles and ideas please email them... E-Mail: knightsintent@aol.com Subject:Essense of Eden

Zen of Stars: Michael St Clair, Futurist and Visionary

A video interview with Michael St Clair

Montreux, Switzerland, September 2006

Shot, edited and directed by Kerry Cassidy and Bill Ryan

Michael St Clair

Project Camelot had the great pleasure of interviewing Michael St Clair, a reknowned futurist and visionary, at the magical Chateau de Chillon in Montreux. St Clair has written a book called Zen of Stars that addresses the transformations and earth changes which are coming in the next few years.

As he says: "We are psychic beings inhabiting a physical reality." St Clair is a synthesist who covers areas as diverse as astrology, astronomy, cosmology and the evolution of the human soul. Inspired by the work of Krishnamurti, he talks about the future of the planet Earth and our growing awareness that is launching us into an enlightened view of the merging of realities.

His work centers around the notion of the growth of small communities and safe places – where those who wish to ride out the coming years can live true to their ideals while maintaining the calm necessary to be ports of shelter to those around us.
